Collection: George Cox
Created in 1949, the George Cox brand is famous for the Creepers and the Georges Cox Hamilton model, triple-soled wedge shoes inspired by the shoes worn by English soldiers in Africa during the Second World War (a thick sole for better withstand the heat). George Cox has been a staple in the look of subcultures for decades, from Teds and Rockers to punks, rockabilly. The iconic Strummer shoe, designed and worn by the legendary Joe Strummer of "The Clash" is still made.
Handmade in the George Cox factory in Northampton,
George Cox has selected British Shoes The specialist in English footwear since 1979 as its main partner.
